¿Cuánto me pueden subir la renta?
Máximo 5.5% una vez al año.
Los cargos por obras en el edificio pueden sumar hasta 20% del alquiler base.
Depende del año de construcción del edificio o el número de unidades.
A quién cubre
- Edificios con primer certificado de ocupación hasta el 1 nov 2011.
- Edificios con 5 unidades o más.
- No cubre edificios de menos de 30 años.
- Cubre: Covers only units that were rent controlled under Ord. O-73-06 and still house a tenant who has continuously occupied since June 30, 2011, in buildings of 5 or more units.
- Excepciones: Dwellings with four or fewer units; motels; hotels; commercial and industrial space; government-owned dwellings; federally or state preempted dwellings; subsidized units (Section 8, 202, 811); permanently decontrolled units; new construction with a CO after Nov 1, 2011.
