Raise rent in Connecticut
Under state law: any amount, from Nov 1, 2026
The Connecticut Judicial Branch guide describes no state cap or formula on rent increases. Landlords may raise rent, except during a written lease unless the lease allows it, and no particular notice period is required unless the lease provides one. Fair Rent Commissions in some towns hear complaints but no numeric limit is set. Our sources don't state the notice period here. The office below can tell you.
