Statewide: New Jersey has no state law that establishes, governs or caps rents; rent control is left to municipal ordinances.

Massachusetts

Statewide: Massachusetts bans local rent control.

Oregon

Statewide: Yearly rent increase capped by the state.

    Washington

    Statewide: Yearly rent increase capped at 10%.
